Eat & drink

A burger worth the journey.

A kitchen, café and bar open to anyone passing by: backpackers and locals at the same tables. “Mainly famous for the burgers,” says the hostel itself.

4,9/5 Tripadvisor · No. 1 on the list of restaurants in Palomino (checked 29 Oct 2026 · Tripadvisor)

There’s no public, up-to-date menu with dishes and prices, so we don’t invent one. This is what can be confirmed — by the hostel itself, its painted signs and its Tripadvisor listing — with the source for each item.

  • Verified the hostel says so today
  • Seen in 2025 on its signs or 2025 photos
  • To confirm per its Tripadvisor listing (Oct 2026)

Prices: ask on site. Those in 2025 photos are no longer a current reference.

What the signs say.

The front does the talking: hand-painted boards with what’s on (and the odd joke). This is how they looked in February and March 2025.

XXL cocktails.

The house coaster says it plainly. A huge glass, mint, lime, bamboo straws and a toast you can see from the street.
